Sara has worked several jobs in several places, most of them within the field of translation. Now at Karam, her top priority is to ensure that all our supported families are happy and thriving. Sara loves spending time with children, as they make her feel both happy and hopeful. To Sara, who moved from one country to another, belonging means acknowledging where you came from because it’s where you live out your childhood, while also appreciating where you are now—because the ability to adapt to a new place with a new culture takes strength, resilience, and courage.
