Lara Setrakian

Lara Setrakian is the Founder and CEO of News Deeply. Before launching her innovative media company, she spent more than five years as a foreign correspondent, reporting on the Middle East for various outlets including ABC News, Bloomberg Television, and Monocle Magazine. Her work has focused on the fusion of news and technology, and her first platform, Syria Deeply, was launched in 2012 to critical acclaim. Before her career in journalism, she worked as a business analyst with McKinsey & Company, specializing in finance and corporate strategy.
